Getting there
Take the Sound Transit Light Rail 1 line to Stadium Station and take a short walk down Royal Brougham Way, or take line 2 to International District/ Chinatown station and take a short walk via the Weller Street Bridge to the stadium. When coming from the north on lines 1 and 2, Sound Transit asks that you exit at Pioneer Square station and walk via Occidental Ave, to distribute crowds. If coming from Sounder or Amtrak trains, get off at King Street and take the same route as line 2 over the Weller St Bridge. Line 1 provides direct access to Sea-Tac Airport. Light Rail trains arrive every 4-8 mins on gameday, with trains running until 1 am. Sounder commuter rail will provide additional gameday trains, along with express bus service. Standard fare for the Light Rail is $3.00 for a single trip. An $18 ORCA pass is available for purchase at major stations for 3 days of unlimited rides, across many regional transit agencies in Seattle. 18 and under ride for free.
About the venue
Opened 2002
A U-shaped stadium on the south edge of downtown Seattle whose partial roof covers about 70% of seats while leaving the field open — a design that traps and amplifies crowd noise, helping fans set a Guinness record for the loudest crowd roar (136.6 dB) in 2013. Home to the NFL's Seahawks and MLS's Sounders, for 2026 it is branded "Seattle Stadium" and hosts six matches.
