About the venue
Opened 1987
Home of the NFL's Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes, and the first U.S. multipurpose stadium built entirely with private financing. A 2015–16 renovation added an open-air canopy that shades the bowl while leaving the pitch open to the sky. It has hosted six Super Bowls, the F1 Miami Grand Prix, and the 2024 Copa América final; for 2026, branded "Miami Stadium," it stages several matches including the third-place playoff.
