About the venue
Opened 1972
Home of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs and anchor of the Truman Sports Complex alongside the Royals' Kauffman Stadium. Its crowd holds the Guinness World Record for the loudest outdoor stadium, peaking at 142.2 decibels in 2014, helped by a distinctively steep upper deck. Renamed GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in 2021, it is slated to host six World Cup matches.
